Typically, this alloy iscopper as centuries of experimentation have shown them to be compatible metals.Sterling silver is an allow of silver and copper, with at least 92.5% puresilver and 7.5% copper. Sterling silver pieces have the hallmark"925" stamped on them, meaning that they are certified sterling silver.
We plate our sterling silver jewelry with rhodium to give thema bright and durable finish. Rhodium is one of the rarest and most expensivemetals, with a silver-white metal finish that is resistant to corrosion.

Gold & Rose Gold Vermeil
Vermeil (pronounced ver-may) is a legally regulated term injewelry quality which is made with genuine .925 sterling silver base metal thathas been expertly plated with a thick layer of gold or rose gold. For a pieceto be considered vermeil, it must meet the following requirements:
Have solid sterling silver as the base material
Have a gold plating that is at least 10 karats. We plate ourpieces with 14K and 18K gold
Have gold plating that is at least 1 microns thick. We plateour vermeil jewelry in 2 microns of gold
To put it simply, vermeil jewelry is made with preciousmetals all the way through and the heavy plating gives the jewelry a lastingfinish. Since both sterling silver and gold are hypoallergenic, vermeil jewelryis safe against the skin and will not cause discoloration or allergic reactions.
The durability of your vermeil jewelry largely depends on itscare and maintenance. When not wearing your gold vermeil jewelry, we recommendstoring them in an airtight container away from moisture and oxygen. All of our gemstones are ethically sourced from around theword. Since many gemstones like Moonstone and Onyx are quite soft and delicate,they are sensitive to harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures (hot and cold), andabrasion from rough surfaces.
To clean your gemstones, gently wipe them with a moist clothand wipe them dry immediately to avoid liquid stains.
